anxietyEvery human experience worries in life. However, if the worry gets persistent daily such that it becomes part of your lifestyle in that it becomes hard to cope with, that becomes anxiety, which can be overwhelming to you as an individual limiting your interactions, shut down many opportunities, and compromise your health. Anxiety commonly manifests itself through a feeling of nervousness, restlessness, or being tense; you may experience panic or sense danger, increased heart rate, rapid breathing, and sweating. You may also avoid daily activities that expose you to strangers or other people.

Anxiety root causes are past or childhood experiences, current situations surrounding your life, physical and psychological issues, genetically acquiring them from a close relative, or certain drugs and medication. If you face anxiety, know that you are not the only one, don’t suffer alone quietly instead, seek help to avoid depression vulnerability. Medication may help you, but the chemical drugs can worsen your condition due to side effects. From research, there are natural supplements that can lessen anxiety symptoms.

The first natural supplement is Vitamin D. Researchers found a positive correlation between vitamin D deficiency and anxiety: It is a source of nerve, brain health, and mood regulation. A study in 2017 found that vitamin D supplements lessened depression and anxiety among women who suffer type 2 diabetes, and another research from 2015 found that depressed and anxious individuals lack significant levels of calcidiol, which is a by-product of vitamin D in the human body. You can get vitamin D naturally from the sun or include mushrooms, oily fish, egg yolks, or Vitamin D supplements in your diet.

Secondly, previously Chamomile was used to calm anxiety effects. Excess stress can compromise your sleep, and Chamomile can relax your muscles, reduce your stress, and treat your insomnia. Chamomile tea contains low levels of caffeine and help you sleep and studies show it reduces moderate and severe generalised anxiety disorder symptoms. You can source chamomile tea from chamomile flowers or buy Chamomile lemon herbal tea bags from market stores.

The third natural anxiety supplement you may have heard of is Kratom. It’s a tree that belongs to the coffee plant family popular in pain alleviation and anxiety treatment, due to its calming effects. Lastly, if you suffer Generalized Anxiety Disorder, meditation is good for you. It relieves anxiety through focus and relaxation that makes your body improve its mental balance, it makes you avoid judgment and reduces your worries. Anxiety is in mind:  Meditation will make you aware of the negative thoughts and teach you to view them, live with them, and let them go. By the end, you will discover that thoughts cannot define you, and they aren’t real, and you will change your thinking, a remedy to end anxiety. Meditation requires patience because it takes time.

Please note that the types of anxiety disorders are diverse. Firstly, panic disorder is a terror that randomly hits you, making you sweat, experience chest pains, and shivers. Secondly, social anxiety disorder involves overwhelming feelings in social places whereby you fear being judged by others or being embarrassed. Thirdly, Specific phobias involve being fearful of certain situations or object like airplanes or heights such that you may try to avoid them and; Lastly, Generalized anxiety disorder makes you worry and get tense with no reason (commonly referred to as the fear of unknown).

In conclusion, to end effectively treat your anxiety, its necessary to know the type you are suffering from so that you can first deal with the route cause. Seek to take care of your body, take part in healthy doings, and eradicate the unhealthy regimes. Always ensure that you get enough sleep, quit smoking and drug abuse, eat healthily, do exercises, meditate and stay active to eradicate any room for negative thoughts then talk to a medical practitioner for a screening of any conditions that may limit the use of above supplements in your diet.
