Forks Over Knives DVD Holiday Giveaway!

The first, and for me, the most revolutionary in my quest to spread the message of health via a plant based diet is Forks Over Knives. A documentary that follows physicians and scientists who have dedicated their research and medical practice to promoting the importance of a plant based diet to gain optimum health. In the film we see undeniable proof from 40 plus years of scientific research as well as following the stories of once terminally ill patients who have been, in a sense, cured by following a vegan diet. I have studied holistic nutrition and naturopathic medicine for over a decade now and I am so happy that this film has finally been made. I am a huge fan of the China Study and have turned many people on to it since it hit book stores. But for those who don’t like to read, this film will be a valuable tool that showcases valid and iron clad proof that you can take an active role in your health by implementing a plant based diet in to your daily life.
One lucky winner will win a copy of this revolutionary film on DVD!
Great as a holiday gift for a friend, loved one or for yourself!

I saw Forks Over Knives at the end of October and from that day on changed the way I eat. I would say I’m “almost” vegan and LOVE it! I have so much energy. I am on a quest to help my friends and family make the change as well. So far about 10-15 people in my life have changed their diets. It’s a must see documentary for everyone, especially for meat lovers. It would be great to have a copy of the DVD to pass along. Your book seems very interesting and well made. I don’t have it yet. I love the book Vegan Planet. Great recipes!

I think it’s important to gently spread the word that a meat-centric diet is only harming people. I’ve borrowed this movie from the library and love its message. And the way it’s delivered. It sticks to the facts and actually shows how a plant-based diet can save or at the least, extend lives and make them worth living again. I’d love to have a copy of this to show to family and friends. Once they saw it, I’d donate it to my library. Their copy has a long waiting list so they can definitely use another copy.

I would love to be able to share the information in this DVD with my friends and family who do not have access to Netflix! My sister went vegan after watching it, so I know it is powerful enough to make real change.
