I’m back in Paris for more “tres bon” eats! If you haven’t checked out my first post in my fave Paris hot spots, be sure to check it out by clicking here. However, there was still more to cover so join me and a second “tour de France”, plant based foodie style!
Located in the famed Batignolles market, you will find My Kitch’n. A vegan smoothie bar and cafe. If you’re looking to check out the market, this spot is a great place for a snack such as a burrito, burger or even a nice raw dish. Perfect for healthy food on the go!
Normally, I’m not a fan of American food when I’m abroad as I can get it any time when I’m at home. However M.O.B. is so rad thatI had to try it. A vegan American restaurant, M.O.B. makes awesome American classics. From dishes like the California burger to the vegan ice cream chipwich, it’s definitely worth dining in. With a location in Brooklyn as well as Paris, it’s super cool to find great, hearty vegan food is being franchised overseas!
With a lot of walking and having to see lots of stuff in a short amount of time, eating light is a great idea. Pousse Pousse is a great raw locale where the food is light, delicious and won’t weigh you down. The chickpea caviar with a great rice wrap will hit the spot. And be sure to get a raw veggie juice to go to keep your energy up for all that sightseeing!
Lastly, but definitely not leastly, is Soya. A vegetarian (mainly vegan and gluten free) eatery, this place is hip, cool and also offers workshops. Be sure to start with the vegan mezze platter, try the tofu curry and make room for the dessert sampler. Ce magnifique!
Join me next week as I visit Auvers Sur Oise, the final resting place of famed impressionist artist, Vincent Van Gogh!
