- 1/2 cup hemp seeds
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 2-3 cloves garlic
- 3 tablespoons dried basil
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
- salt and pepper to taste
Put hemp seeds, spinach and garlic cloves in a food processor. Mix until ingredients are roughly chopped.
While the food processor is still running, slowly add olive oil in a thin stream and process until fully incorporated and smooth.
Season with salt and pepper. Add lemon juice and nutritional yeast and mix until well combined. Add a bit more of garlic, lemon juice and/or nutritional yeast until you’re happy with the taste and consistency.
