Sex ProblemsErectile dysfunction is not an uncommon condition. About 25% of all men under 40 likely suffer from some form of erectile dysfunction. But, what is erectile dysfunction, and how do you treat it?

The ED definition from an ED Specialist goes a little something like this: The inability to gain or maintain an erection. That’s straightforward enough, but the causes of erectile dysfunction are varied and complex. If you’re uncertain about what is causing your dysfunction, you can perform an at-home erectile dysfunction test.

Fortunately, there are hundreds of medications, treatments, and foods for erectile dysfunction. If you’re suffering from ED, you’re not alone, and you’re not helpless. Check out these possible solutions!

1. Foods for Erectile Dysfunction

Sometimes, improper nutrition and a poor diet can cause ED. Foods that support the vascular system and improve blood flow are one way to fight erectile dysfunction.

These foods include dark leafy greens, dark chocolate, watermelon, tomatoes, grapefruit, and beets!

2. Prescription Medications for Erectile Dysfunction

If you suffer from a painful erection or a lack of erections, you should consult with your health care providers, or for convenience, there are consultations for erectile dysfunction available online to discover the cause.Peyronie’s disease, penile fracture, and priapism are all possible causes. Leaving these condition untreated can lead to severe bouts of erectile dysfunction.

Viagra, perhaps the best known prescription drug for erectile dysfunction, is an excellent choice for those seeking an immediate erection. But, how long does viagra stay in your system? Will you have a painful persistent erection? The answer depends on your metabolism.

Individuals with a faster metabolism may find that Viagra wears off after only an hour or two. However, it can stay in your system for up to six hours if you have a slower metabolism.

If you’re unable to get a prescription from your physician, you can also order ED medications through the mail and online! In addition to Viagra, Cialis, Levitra, and Stendra are fantastic options.

3. Herbal Treatments for Erectile Dysfunction

There are a handful of herbal treatments that can help you achieve a firm erection. Gingko, ginseng, horny goat weed, and L-arginine can be added to your diet or taken as supplements.

Be sure to consult with your physician before adding these herbal supplements to your diet, though. Some may interact with OTC or prescription medications.

4. Exercises for Erectile Dysfunction

Kegels, yoga, and pilates can all contribute to a stronger, healthier erection. Kegel exercises help strengthen the pelvic floor and can help you control your erections. Yoga can strengthen and open the vascular system, allowing for better blood flow toward your pelvis.

Pilates combines the best benefits of Kegel exercises, and yoga poses to strengthen the pelvic floor and improve blood flow. Thirty minutes of exercise a day is a small price to pay for improved sexual health.

5. Mental Health for Erectile Dysfunction

Sometimes, ED is caused by psychological issues and not physical problems. If you’ve been wondering how to get an erection and you have no physical illnesses or deformities that prevent you from doing so, it may be a mental health issue.

Seeking psychiatric help or practicing meditation can help you fight any erectile dysfunction and lead to a better and healthier sex life!

Don’t Let ED Get You Down!

Erectile dysfunction doesn’t have to mean the end of your love life. With a little courage and action, you can overcome ED! These medications, treatments, and foods for erectile dysfunction are sure to help.

Not everyone with ED needs to take medication. If you suspect you have ED, see your doctor or go to https://eumeds.com/. They will examine your body and perform special laboratory tests, as well as draw up a detailed medical and psychosocial chart. This will be the best option before using erectile dysfunction medications.

If there is a suspicion that the cause of impotence is a neurological pathology, the integrity of the nervous system can be determined by measuring the evoked potentials of the cortex and sacrum
