It would complete our Thanksgiving menu by giving our vegetarian guests an alternative. I’m sure the sausages would be a big hit. They look delicious.

Field Roast would complete my Thanksgiving menu because I could add it to the dressing and also make my mom’s Dirty Rice with it.

This would make a yummy late night snack when everyone is tired of turkey or I also have a recipe for stuffing with sausage in it, or it could be for those family members who are vegetarians. Thanks.

Having this product would be helpful as part of the guests are vegan and part are meat-eaters so it would be helpful since i have never liked the tofurkey.

So many people with different dietary requirements – these products would cover a lot of them. And I love anything spicy and flavorful, so I’m all for the Chipotle Sausages.

We’re a little strange in that we like to grill on Thanksgiving. These would be great to try out, and I’m sure our family and guests would love them.

Oh the Field Roast Sausage would make my Thanksgiving stuffing just sublime I would think and add so much to our Thanksgiving meal. We always have to make extra stuffing anyways and with this I’d probably have to make triple batch, yum:-)

As usual I will be bringing food for the husband and me to my in-laws’ T-day meal. I’ll bring a hearty entree, perhaps something like baked acorn squash stuffed with barley pilaf, and my in-laws will look down their noses at it. I’d like to say adding Field Roast would change all that, and open their minds to the deliciousness of vegan food, but that would be a lie.

Then we will watch as his family chows down on dismembered animals and their secretions. The husband and I will be depressed and bitter throughout the meal and drink too much wine. Then there will be an argument about union pensions, real estate prices, and/or the Lakers.

The one bright spot is that I am in charge of desserts every year, and my in-laws are willing to eat vegan pies and cakes, although they won’t eat anything else I make.

I may or may not use the Field Roast to make a vegan “meat” cake that seems so popular now. 😉

Field Roast is actually a planned part of our Thanksgiving menu this year! It’s our first vegan Thanksgiving. We’re so excited. Field Roast will be completing our festive meal as part of main and side dishes. So many different flavors to choose from 😀

I am actually making a vegan Thanksgiving brunch this year. The smoked apple sage sausage would be the perfect breakfast “meat” to complement my other dishes (pumpkin cream cheese filled pancakes, cornbread muffins with cranberry chutney and cinnamon butter, zucchini latkes, tofu scramble, and fruit).

  40. Margaret says:

Last year I made a Tofurky for Thanksgiving, and proceeded to get laughed at by family. I also hated the taste of it. This year, I am convinced to have something that will not get me laughed at! It will be my second vegan Thanksgiving, and whereas I am now able to wow them will all the other sides and desserts, I am still contemplating a main dish. Field Roast would help me out a lot!!
