Steps to Smooth and Sexy Body

weight lossIt’s only natural that you’d want to enjoy the summer weather in mini skirts, shorts and swimsuits. But, it’s not always easy to show the skin with confidence. This is why proper preparation is in order. Still, you should really come to terms with the fact that healthy habits a month or two before summer can’t do wonders if you don’t take good care of yourself for the rest of the year. Of course, there are some practices that will smooth out your skin perfectly, but even so, do your best to stick to the habits and practices you develop in summer time all year round.

Water is your best friend

Nope, you can’t get away from this one. No matter how tired you are from listening about the benefits of adequate water intake, this tip is pushed so much because dehydration is the main culprit for many health and beauty issues – and especially dry skin. Carry a water bottle with you all the time so that you can drink constantly, keep yourself hydrated and make your skin supple and radiant. And if you find drinking water a challenge, add mint and/or lemon to it to improve the taste.

Fruits, veggies and Omega-3

Another step that would work the best for your smooth and sexy body if you developed it as a continuous habit has to do with your diet. You don’t have to restrict yourself, but try to enrich your meals with fruits, veggies and Omega-3. The best way to get Omega-3 is by eating fish but you can also take supplements. The vitamins and nutrients, as well as Omega-3 fatty acids, are responsible for making your skin healthier, youthful, radiant and elastic. Even if you don’t like fresh fruit and vegetables, there are plenty of recipes online to help you make these healthy ingredients tastier.

Consistent exercising

It’s never too late to start exercising. After all, physical activity is essential not only for your health, but a smooth and sexy body as well. It’s not just about shedding extra pounds, but tightening your muscles and skin by engaging in physical activity, as well. Workouts boost blood circulation which can gradually get rid of the cellulite issue that many ladies have to deal with. What’s more, if you exercise regularly, you’ll sleep better which will allow your skin to regenerate during the night. You’ll also have more energy to enjoy all of the summer activities to the fullest.

Remove the hairs properly

If you want to feel confident in your skimpy clothes during summer, it’s important to get rid of the unwanted hair as well. There are different methods that you can choose from. In tropical countries such as Australia, it’s not surprising that laser hair removal in Perth and other cities is one of the most popular beauty treatments. After all, it will help you say goodbye to unwanted hair for good. If you shave, always use a shaving gel/cream with a multiple razor blade. This way you’ll prevent irritation and remove the hair more efficiently. Finally, there’s waxing, which keeps the skin smooth for about 3-4 weeks. If you plan to go on a summer holiday, wax at least a couple of days before, so that the redness from waxing is all gone and your skin looks smooth and seamless.

Don’t forget to moisturize

In this day and age, everyone is busy, which often means that there’s little time for moisturizing after a shower. However, if you want a smooth and sexy body, you should never skip this step. A good-quality lotion will restore the balance in your skin and keep it hydrated and protected from the outside. If you can’t seem to get into the habit of regular moisturizing, keep your lotion in the bathroom and apply it while your skin’s still wet. You can even use in-shower lotions.

Remember, if you put just a little bit of effort into proper self-care throughout the year, you’ll get to feel sexy and confident constantly. There’s nothing wrong with taking up some healthy habits right before summer or your holiday, but if you’re consistent you’ll feel better and happier all the time. Also, keep in mind that you have to protect your skin from the sun even when you’re completely satisfied with how you look. Therefore, always use SPF. Considering that you can get high SPF in a spray form these days, there’s no excuse for negligence!
