The major difference between these two professions is that physiotherapists often work in hospital settings. They also use more electrotherapy treatments in addition to massage and physical exercises.

What Is Physical Therapy?

Physical therapy can also be used to treat a wide range of injuries. The most common approaches are through massaging and strengthening exercises. In America, physical therapists often own a private clinic.

Physical therapy in Australia is a lot different from physiotherapy. This is because physiotherapists require much more training.     In General, it is not difficult to figure out whether you need physical therapy, because if you are engaged in sports feel regular pain, or were injured after sports – it will only benefit you. The main thing is to find a competent specialist, you can see a physiotherapist on the issue of injuries here. My specialist was excellent at solving my immediate problems, helping me work towards long-term goals. Very polite, pleasant staff.
