People today as overworked and overstressed, and although we try to alleviate stress and worries through a number of ways, the creeping feeling of pressure and duty continues to try and crush us all.
A little bleak? It doesn’t have to be so, especially when you find motivation in turning your life around and bringing the utmost importance to the top of your life – you and your health.
With my running phone belt firmly in place, I set off on a few journey into a better, healthier lifestyle. A far cry from all the bad behaviours, fatigue and health destroying habits that I had burrowed myself into the last couple of years.
How to keep the worries away with help from your running phone belt
Although I sit at my desk now typing this up, I feel a sense of satisfaction that straight after, I will be able to get up, stretch out, put on my running phone belt and begin, what has now become my daily routine of jogging 3 kilometres a day.
There is a great difference between the person I was just a couple of short years ago, and the persona I have made myself into thanks to the wonders of leading a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
Giving into temptation might happen on the weakest of days, but marring a perfectly healthy diet with a piece of cake every now and then, isn’t as bad as giving up on your workout routine. A regulated and personally suited weekly workout routine means keeping active enough to stay fit and healthy.
The amount of hours spent sitting nowadays has increased thanks to long hours of office work. Sometimes you can hardly take a break to get up and stretch your legs, a big problem for most of us leaving our 20’s and entering our 30’s.
I often wonder how I managed to get myself into gear, but a lot of it depended on a few conveniences such as my running phone belt which enabled me to carry my cell phone and hook myself up to some much needed music on my lengthy jogs.
Without much fuss my running phone belt became my number one tool to help motivate me into jogging after a long and tiring day at the office. Giving me the opportunity to set my own “soundtrack” as I set off down the road to fitness.
I won’t lie, I absolutely hated jogging the first few months – mostly due to the fact that I had become accustomed to a busy let lazy lifestyle of sitting. But pushing through the pain and keeping my head in the game as I listened to soothing sounds on my cell phone, really helped me move on with my workouts.
Now I can’t wait until it’s jogging time, and although some say it’s best to work out in the morning, I try to alternate between 3 mornings and 2 evenings; giving me a change of scenery and allowing me to melt away the stresses of modern life.
The difference I feel is phenomenal, and I can’t ever imagine going back to the way I was. I cannot recommend a better way to get your life on track, as to create for yourself a balance and healthy regime.
