From Vacations to Diet — How to Incorporate Yoga into Your Lifestyle

vacation yogaOnce you get going with yoga, you don’t want to let it go. Your regular practice becomes important, and you don’t want to break routine. But how do you keep up your practice while on vacation or when changes in your lifestyle occur?

To keep yoga part of your everyday routine, you need effective ways to incorporate it into your lifestyle. Here’s how:

Keep Yoga Top of Mind on Vacation

When going on vacation, many people choose to break their exercise routine to loosen up and unwind. Truth be told, giving your body a little break here and there is good for it. Not only does it give it time to recuperate, but after a few days, it craves the exercise. However other people choose something like a Costa Rica yoga retreat and get in a vacation with some meditation and exercise in gorgeous surroundings.

Yoga, however, can help while on vacation because it’s the type of exercise that allows your body to stretch and relax. It also allows for deep breathing, which strengthens the body and mind connection and makes way for relaxation.

Additionally, yoga is tied to mindfulness. By nature, the poses allow your brain to concentrate, keeping you in the moment. Doing a quick practice in the morning can set your mind right to enjoy the rest of the day, each day of your vacation.

Sexual health expert Eleanor from yonieggs.co claims that you can also use yoni eggs while you meditate or while doing various poses. Yoni eggs are polished gemstones that have been used by women in Eastern cultures for over thousands of years to help train their pelvic floor muscles. Just experiment on the combinations of poses and types of yoni eggs that will suit you best. Doing a quick practice in the morning can set your mind right to enjoy the rest of the day, each day of your vacation.

A Shorter Practice While on the Go

A yoga class or personal practice can vary in time length. While traveling or on the go, you can still practice, even if it’s for a few minutes. In fact, just a few poses will help. There are plenty of sources online that offer quick practices.

If you find yourself without electronics while traveling, you can always try these five quick core poses offered by Yoga Journal. It’s an easy-to-follow 5-pose Sequence that can support your core and get your day started on a high note.

Mindfulness and Diet

You may find that as you do yoga, you become more mindful of your surroundings and your actions. This includes how and what you eat. As you progress in your sessions, you’ll find it easier to listen to what your body is asking for when it comes to nutrition.

If it’s something you haven’t tried before and it appeals to you, ask your nutritionist or doctor if this is a healthy choice for you. You may also find that different types of drinks appeal to you as well. Again, consult with your doctor on anything you’ll ingest that you have questions about.

Beneficial for Pregnant Women

Undoubtedly, one of the biggest changes that can impact one’s exercise and lifestyle overall is pregnancy. It turns out, there are many benefits for pregnant women when they practice pre-natal yoga.

According to the American Pregnancy Association, prenatal yoga has specific benefits for women, such as improved quality of sleep and stress management. It allows you to continue your practice so that you don’t have to make a pause in your exercise routine while you expect.

Before you dive into this practice though, always consult with your physician to see if this is recommended for you.

Think You Can’t Exercise at Work? Think Again

For many of us, a big part of our lives is our workplace. Sometimes, we feel like we live at the office because we spend so much time there! If this is the case for you and you find yourself wanting to do more yoga, look into doing a quick office yoga practice.

This one doesn’t require that you bring your mat, if you don’t want to. In fact, you can do it right where you’re standing and even sitting on your chair. It typically involves doing a variety of stretches to help your body relax and strengthen during your work day.

Yoga is the perfect constant to a daily routine, even when changes in lifestyle happen as time goes by. Commit to it, enjoy it, and breathe.

You read calmly about the fact that morning yoga training will help you to have a good day, and then bang – yoni eggs, they used to help women train pelvic floor muscles. And you cannot understand what is happening 🙂
And what, someone used, can share their impressions?
