How to Dab CBD Wax for Maximum Effects

CBD OilAccording to a 2019 Gallup survey, one in seven Americans uses CBD products for different health conditions. CBD is quickly becoming popular as an alternative to conventional medicine. It is known to provide incredible benefits, from pain relief and calming anxiety to aiding better sleep. 

From fitness enthusiasts, biohackers to the young and old, everybody wants to try the miraculous herb for a range of health ailments. CBD can be consumed in several forms, and one of the most common and popular forms is the CBD wax. In this post, we will discuss CBD dabbing and how to dab cannabidiol wax for maximum effects and satisfaction.

What is CBD or Cannabidiol Wax?

Cannabidiol wax is the cannabis concentrate that has grown in popularity because of the increased concentration of CBD.

CBD wax is very concentrated. Therefore, you receive a high dose of it without ingesting it as much. Even a small quantity of wax can give you the same effect as a hefty dose of other forms of CBD. It is derived from CBD-rich hemp flowers through a process called CO2 extraction. One of the effective ways of consuming wax in its most potent form is through ‘Dabbing’. 

Introduction to Dabbing

Dabbing is the process of heating the oil or substance to the point that vaporizes and then inhaling that vapor by a vape pen or vape rig. Dabbing, however, is different from smoking. 

Unlike smoking, dabbing does not involve incineration of the plant. In dabbing, no actual burning occurs if done right. You apply heat to the substance so that the vapor comes out, which you can inhale. You can use different tools to dab CBD, but all dabbing tools share a few essential elements.

Heating Source – Every dabbing tool must have a heat source that applies heat to the substance. There are different heat source types, but all serve the same purpose – heat the content at a high temperature so that it vaporizes.

Concentrate Delivery Mechanism – This is where you place the substance for heating. Depending on the type of dabbing tool you use, it can either be a metal implement, silicone, or heat-resistant mat.

Inhalation Mechanism – Every dabbing tool has to have an inhalation mechanism that allows you to inhale the emitted vapor once you heat the substance.

Different Tools to Dab CBD 

Dab Rigs – These consist of glass pipes, a mouthpiece, base, and nails, which act as a heating element. The domes can be nails which require butane torch to heat up, domeless nails, and e-nails which heat up using electricity.

Dab Pens – These are similar to vape pens and are portable. They have batteries and coils that heat up at the touch of a button. In dab pens, you have to apply the concentrate directly to the heating coil and press it. They come in different styles, voltage, battery, and capacities.

Nectar Collectors – Also called dab straws, these are the most straightforward dabbing tools available in the market. These devices are usually made of glass, metal, or ceramic, and all you need to do is heat the tip with a butane torch. Apply the heated tip to the concentrate and inhale from the other end.

Why Is Dabbing Better?

CBD wax is a concentrate that blends both CBD shatter and CBD oil into a straightforward product. It isn’t as viscous as CBD oil, nor is it as crumbly as CBD shatter. It makes it easy to inhale via a nectar collector or other dabbing tools. It is considered best to dab CBD in wax or oil form because hemp oil contains terpene and other trace cannabinoids with special effects.

Dabbing CBD wax is the safest and most effective form of consuming CBD. You need just a small amount to have the desired effect. Dabbing CBD has been considered one of the most bioavailable ways of consuming CBD because it enters the bloodstream quickly, and the impact can be felt within minutes. 

Since CBD wax contains very little THC with full-spectrum CBD or none at all with CBD isolate, it offers a quick solution to those looking for help with some chronic conditions like pain, insomnia, nausea, headache, etc., without the danger of being intoxicated or ‘high’. 

However, since the FDA does not regulate it, it is best to talk to your healthcare provider before consuming it. This is mainly for those on consistent medication for underlying health conditions to know how it reacts with pharmaceutical drugs.
