My favorite Halloween memory is of the Halloween Carnivals we used to have at my old elementary school. Back then, they actually called it a Halloween Carnival rather than a Fall Festival like they do now. I much prefer Halloween Carnival. They even provided us with a truly spooky haunted house!
Because it was so long ago I remember when I was a little kid and we went trick or treating. Whe had collected driied corn to throw at houses and when I was home I heard something and got so scared I threw some corn. Turned out to be my Dad and he was mad at me for that! LOL Oops, didn’t mean to!
My favorite halloween was last year, because it was the first year we lived in a suburb not in the country and had actual trick or treaters come to our door!
One year a person in our group fell into a hole. One moment they were there and then they disappeared. Luckily they were O.K.
Mine is going to door to door trick or treating.
When I was a kid going Halloweening with my friend and dressed up as a hobo & staying out past 9pm
We still hide a rubber skeleton all over the house during the month of October!
My fave Halloween memory is we had just adopte my 2 year old son from Colombia 2 days before Halloween. He spoke no English and he was terrified as we put him into a clown costume. I can only imangine , what he thought as we roamed the streest knocking on doors.today he is 22 years old.

I like every Halloween because I go all out, getting discount candy at the end of the year and freezing them for the next. I have bowls of candy, apples, bananas, boiled egg ghosts, and, sometimes, drinks & chips for the trick-or-treaters. One year, they had individually wrapped caramel apples on discount for 25 cents each at Kroger the week before Halloween, and I put them in the fridge. I had 13. And they had 16 oz. bags of candy orange slices on discount at Big Lots for 25 cents that year, too, and I got 12 of them. The first few trick-or-treaters that year REALLY got a treat! I always have a ton of decorations up, play scary CDs, and dress up. Everyone says my place is the best in town, and they don’t know I don’t spend a ton of money.
In my senior year of highschool, we threw a pizza party with a bunch of school friends, went trick or treating, and then ate baked goods and watched scary movies late into the night. It was a blast.
My favorite Halloween memory was of taking my son trick or treating for the first time. We both had so much fun and he was the cutest little pumpkin ever!
I remember the first time I got to stay out until midnight on Halloween.
making popcorn balls and hot cocoa!
Ands bags of goodies

My favorite Halloween memory is coming back from trick or treating with my neighbors who were all around my age to a late neighborhood dinner of homemade grilled pizza. We would all sit around the table trying all the different kinds and warming up with hot apple cider.
6th grade when my friend and I dressing up as Rubik’s Cubes when they were all the rage, growing up in L.A. Getting paint all over ourselves and finding it very hard and hilarious to walk, use the bathroom, pretty much do anything. It was especially hard to take the big painted box off at the end of the night.
MMM hot chocolate!
Awesome blog and thanks for the giveaway!
Would love, love, LOVE to win this!

My favorite Halloween memory comes from my college days–we had quite a party and all were dressed in costumes–even some of the profs showed up.
My favorite memory is when I dressed up like Punky Brewster.
My favorite Halloween memory is all my cousins, my sister and I would all dress up on Halloween and go trick-or-treating and then we would all trade for our favorite candies and I would always end up trading all my goodies for the fruit flavored tootsie rolls :0)….but I sure do know better now!
I was sharing a house on a hill. The yard was raised up about 5 feet from the sidewalk. I came home from work after dark and found the yard riddled with 4 foot stakes. Each stake had a carved pumpkin head perched atop with a candle lit inside. The entire yard was aglow with floating heads and the kids in the neighborhood loooooved it. It was very spooky even for us grownups.
My favorite Halloween memory was three years ago when I was teaching English in the Japanese countryside. I dressed up as a pumpkin (it was a HUGE inflatable costume that made it difficult to walk and maneuver around in) and went to the local library, where all the schoolchildren gathered around me, touching my costume and asking me endless questions. I had just started teaching at their school a month ago, and the Halloween pumpkin costume was the perfect way to break the ice!

My fave memory is going door to door getting candy
when we all went to the haunted house
My favorite Halloween was when i was pregnant, 9 months pregnant with my son. I put on one of my grandma’s moo moos and put on an avacado mask, hair in curlers and handed out candy. it was great
My favorite Halloween memory was the year that I went to work in costume as a cowgirl, including saddle! Everyone thought it was a really great costume… most didn’t realize that it was how I dressed and what I did when I wasn’t at work! LOL
I REMEMBER WHEN MY CHILDREN WERE YOUNG…THEY WOULD GO OUT WITH PILLOWCASES AND COME BACK WITH THE CASES HALF FULL OF CANDY….THESE WOULD BE THE BIG BARS OF CANDY….MY CHILDREN HAD CANDY INTO THE NEXT YEAR…THEY WERE HAPPY AND THAT MADE ME HAPPY…..BUT THAT WAS A LONG, LONG TIME AGO
Sorry I forgot to leave my email for my Halloween memory. It’s [email protected]
My favourite Halloween memory is when I was a kid I would come home after trick or treating with a pillowcase full of goodies.
bobbing for apples
My favorite memory is of the year that my cousins and I went trick or treating together and all of us dressed up as tigers.
When my Dad donned a mask and wrapped himself in foil. He went out with us as an alien.
NOthing with food – I’m going way back to my college days. We got invited to this party in an abandoned downtown warehouse where we had to operate a freight elevator to get up to the party.
I still don’t believe we did it. Wild, great fun. I would NEVER do that at this point of my life. We could have been killed and we weren’t even sure we were in the right building.
Oh sweet bird of youth!
My favorite Halloween memory is from when hubby was posted to Germany and we around on the base with our sons trick-or-treating and the parents were all given gluvine.A lot of fun!
My favorite Halloween memory would have to be the one that my husband asked me to move in with him. We were dating at the time. He is my best friend and the love of my life. Every Halloween is a special day.
long time ago, halloween fell on a sunday, and our town said we could trick or treat on either saturday or sunday. Now mom wouldn’t let us go on both nights (she was such a party pooper!) but just the thought that maybe we could have made for such memories
My favorite Halloween memory was hosting a haunted house and making lots of yummy “spooky” baked treats to share at the end! It was fun to be scary for once!
My favorite halloween experiences were going to the “rich” houses at the very end of the night when no other kids were coming and getting like 2 or 3 king size candy bars..I was one happy halloweenie.
Definitely the first year I was allowed to go to the neighborhood haunted house – it was very well done and I was so scared and so delighted at the same time. I wanted to go through twice!
Ooh! This would be fabulous to try. I haven’t had hot chocolate in ages!
My favorite Halloween memory is of all the times I went trick-or-treating as a kid with my best girlfriends. We’d walk and walk and walk until our feet hurt, then come back to my house and swap candy with each other.
I am such a chocoholic, this would be just my “cup of chocolate”
my favorite memory of Halloween is when my sister and I went out trick or treating, went to a neighbors door and she only had one candy bar left. we left, but my sneaky sister made an excuse and went back to the neighbor without me knowing and asked the lady if she could have the candy bar.
WOW! I’ve been trying to find vegan hot chocolate for ages. These are amazing!
My favorite Halloween memory has to be when I was like 12. My brother and I got to go trick or treating in our neighborhood completely parent free. We got to eat candy before we got home and everything. It was awesome. Hooray for independence. 🙂
