Whether your wish is to cleanse yourself to better your health or whether you have no choice but to cleanse yourself due to ill-health, there are so many different pathways that you can take.   • Drink and Snack Healthily

No matter what your reason is for detoxing, water should be your go-to drink throughout the process — by consuming 6-8 glasses of water per day you will rid your body of whatever toxins you wish to cleanse it of. Similarly, you should put down those chocolate bars, put down that candy, and make apples your go-to snack. Like water, this kind of fruit gets to work right away in detoxifying the body.

  • Don’t allow yourself to go hungry

There’s a common misconception when it comes to detoxing that going hungry is an okay thing to do — it is definitely not advised! Even if your goal is to lose weight during your detoxification, you shouldn’t ever allow yourself to go hungry, as doing so will put your body under unnecessary amounts of stress. Due to this stress, you’ll find yourself far more likely to succumb to your urges to eat unhealthily. Have a healthy, balanced meal plan that is easy to stick to and ensures you are on the right track with your diet.
