Kinesiology Kinesiology is a scientific study of physiological, psychological and mechanical aspects of human as well as non-human movements. It is a holistic therapy practiced by a licensed practitioner who assesses a patient’s body by examining the muscles and helping him tap into his “inner being”.

THE FUNDAMENTAL IDEA BEHIND KINESIOLOGY:
Kinesiology is based on the idea that the imbalances in emotions, nutrition and physique can manifest themselves as muscle ailments. Our bodies have an innate power to heal itself, so as long as the body, mind, and soul are perfectly balanced, most health problems heal by themselves. However, when all these elements are out of sync or when the energy flow is blocked, the tissues, muscles, and organs will be affected. So, by exploring a person’s subconscious, the hidden health issues can be treated more effectively by stimulating the body’s potential to cure itself.

WHAT IS THE EXACT TREATMENT PROCEDURE?
This holistic therapy does not diagnose or treat a specific disease. As already said, kinesiology aims at correcting the imbalances in your body’s energy. So, it works like Acupuncture, Reiki or Pranic Healing. A kinesiology therapy may involve one or more of the following treatments:

1. Reflexology
2. Sound therapy
3. Homeotherapy
4. Chakra healing
5. Color therapy
6. Counseling

Kinesiology practitioners activate the acupuncture points in the body by gently rubbing or massaging them. The patients need to undergo various kinds of physical movements and breathing exercises for stress release and better circulation of oxygen and the body fluids.

Using muscle monitoring, the practitioner helps you tap into your “inner being” which holds the information about your memories, your emotions, as well as your physical, mental and emotional states. Then, he develops a special approach the best technique to unblock the flow of energy in your body’s problem areas. Once the root cause of your ailment is determined, the practitioner suggests you various treatments which may include lymphatic point stimulation, meridian tracing, and chemical testing.
