52 Small Changes: One Year to a Healthier, Happier You by wellness expert and best-selling author Brett Blumenthal, arrives in time for the new year!
This “how-to” manual for achieving a state of optimal health and wellness outlines fifty-two weeks of small, yet productive changes that readers can make to live a happier, healthier life. Why fifty-two? By making one small change each week over the course of one year, this will ultimately lead to the big change of living a healthier, happier lifestyle – because ultimately it is the small steps that make the most lasting difference, rather than trying to overhaul an entire lifetime’s worth of bad habits all at once!

52 Small Changes addresses all areas of wellbeing, including nutrition, exercise, stress management, mental wellness, and even the health of one’s home environment. With weekly goals such as Taking Time to Stretch, Choosing Whole Grains, Spending Time in Nature, and Reducing Dust in Your Home, this enthusiastic guide to long-term wellness is a must-read for anyone ready to change their life for good.
3 lucky winners will win a copy of their very own just in time for New Year’s Health resolutions!

I have been trying to live a healthier lifestyle. I have been a vegetarian now for two years, which is probably the biggest healthy change I could ever make, and now I am looking ways to incorporate good health practices in all the other areas of my life. This book sounds perfect!

I would love to win this book as I like how it is about small changes you can make in your life. I want to change so much about my life right now but it seems so overwhelming. I feel like I can really change if I can find a way to take baby steps instead of trying to jump right in,

I need some extra motivation! For some reason, the beginning of the new year was not enough “oomph” to get me in the self-improvement mood.

I would like to win because I need some motivation to make the changes I need in my life. I know I need to exercise and eat healthier but I can’t seem to get started. I think this book would help make those changes much more manageable.

I would like to win because I think I could take a lot from this book and apply it to my life. taking small steps seems much easier than making major changes.

Many places and books offer help by focusing on 1 thing like mental well being or diet and nutrition. This book appears to be a well rounded book offering suggestions for change in all areas of your life. For me, this would be a good book because I have been taking care of a sick mother, and this would give me suggestions to help take care of myself and put some focus on me for a change.

I would like to win this book because while I think I do pretty well in certain areas of wellness (e.g. diet and exercise) I could use some tips for improving other areas of my life (e.g. stress reduction). Thanks!

My husband and I are excited about the idea of making small changes that we can stick to. Radical immediate changes seem to fizzle out too quickly and we are very motivated to change our habits and our general outlook on life! We are hoping to inspire people along the way and share as much as we can about the small change challenges we’ve taken on that i’m sure will impact our lives in a big way. Happy New Year everyone!

I’ve been stuck in 2008 for too long now – after losing our home, all our financial security, my husband being forced into “early retirement” at 55 by having to go on disability, I find myself totally overwhelmed by life in general and have let myself completely GO. The so called American Dream has been a nightmare for us – you always think by 50ish you’d be somewhat settled, but we are literally starting all over again after 28 years of marriage. So, 2012 has just got to be a year of change for me! I’m looking for as many helps as possible toward that end – thanks Carolyn for listening.
