CBD OilThe discovery of the usefulness of cannabidiol (CBD) and its rising popularity as a great compound for treating various conditions and illnesses has led to tons of misleading information. This article looks at five facts about CBD to set the record straight and debunk some of the myths about it.

  1.     The legality of CBD is a gray area

In the United States of America, CBD is not among the controlled substances classified under schedule 1. That being the case, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not yet legalized the sale of CBD as a supplement. THC, the psychoactive compound from the cannabis plant, is legal in just a few states whereas CBD is legal in all of the states and they have elaborate steps in place for accessing CBD for medicinal use.

  1.     CBD oil and CBD extract are not psychoactive

The compound from the cannabis plant that causes a feeling of a ‘high’ is known as tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), but cannabidiol (CBD), which is also extracted from the cannabis plant, is non-psychoactive and does not cause a high.

  1.     CBD is non-habit forming and safe

The World Health Organization (WHO) has approved CBD in its pure form as safe for consumption. It has been proven to be non-habit forming, meaning that it is not addictive and does not make those who take it to want to take higher quantities of it more frequently.

To get pure CBD, users need to buy from reputable vendors and sources like Cannaflower, a reliable CBD supplier who gets their CBD from small-scale farmers who grow it organically. It is then slow-dried, hand-trimmed, and cured for over 60 days to ensure the highest quality. The products are even tested by third-party laboratories to confirm that they comply with federal requirements and are safe.

  1.     CBD has great therapeutic benefits

CBD has shown promises of helping to relieve pain such as arthritic pains and inflammations as well as managing mental disorders such as anxiety, depression, and others. It has also been thought to be effective in helping recovering drug addicts to deal with withdrawal symptoms. CBD has also promising indications of treating epilepsy, insomnia, headache, and many other issues.

  1.     CBD comes in many forms

CBD is sold in various forms including oils, tinctures, topical creams, powders, gummies, cosmetics, drinks, and chocolate. These forms are to match with the intended mode of using the compound. Some people add it to foods in the form of oils, others drink it, and others apply it as a topical cream. The chocolates and gummies are eaten as they are and the tinctures are drank as solutions.

Conclusion

CBD is nature’s gift to man and is useful in many ways other than those mentioned above. It has also shown promises of helping to treat erectile dysfunction in men. Blockage in the blood vessels makes blood not to flow well, so it cannot enter into the shaft to cause an erection. Taking CBD makes the blood vessels dilate, allowing easy flow of blood. Anxiety could also cause erection failure, and CBD helps to relieve and ease the mind’s burdens and worries.
