Holistic wellness has long been touted as an alternative to more common approaches to health and wellness. However, although it has been around for some time, it has only really caught on in the past few decades and is currently seeing a massive resurgence. However, when people read the words “holistic wellness,” a multitude of things can pop up in their minds. This post aims to clear away some of the non-truths surrounding the discipline and help you understand what it is and what it means for your health.

What Is Holistic Wellness?

Many things come to mind when one imagines what this discipline entails, but in reality, it is a combination of factors that make up the whole. Holistic wellness is an approach to health that focuses on caring for the whole person…mind, body, and spirit. It seeks to optimize all aspects of well-being and recognizes the deep connections between them.
