Sometimes you just need to get away. Lucky for me, living in LA, I can go all sorts of wonderful places and I have found one of my fave new places to kick back, relax, enjoy great food and treat myself. And that place is the Ranch at Laguna Beach!
Nestled in the majestic Aliso and Wood Canyons in the heart of Laguna Beach is The Ranch. A local icon for the last 50 years, the hidden treasure is being re-envisioned and renovated to reopen as the premier boutique Southern California coastal ranch resort that will perfectly reflect the rich history of these storied canyons and the artistry that is Laguna Beach.
And there is something for everybody! From golfers to foodies, couples to kids, it’s a resort that has it all in unrivaled beauty. Secluded within a peaceful blend of canyon and sea, their authentic sanctuary invites guests to get caught up in the world of a Laguna local that’s off the beaten path in every sense. Leave the pretense and rules of other resorts behind and step into the warm embrace of a place where everyone knows your name!
The accommodations are lovely, the food delicious and the service, second to none. I received special welcome treats in room as well as help in getting the highly sought after Pageant of the Masters tickets. My in-room massage was great as was my fun day at the beach with chairs and umbrellas from the ranch. You want it, they got it!
Grafted into the Laguna culture and notched into the perfect convergence of land and sea, a stay at The Ranch is a microcosm of the best of Laguna in one organic, refined place. Their staff offers an insider’s take on hidden surf spots, shops and specialty galleries. Laid-back luxury speaks to the Laguna mindset. Nonstop programs, such as barefoot Friday golf with three clubs, and monthly art gallery tours, all capture the vibe of their unique
locale.
Here’s a little taste of what you can find at The Ranch:
- The casual atmosphere lets you slow down and connect with nature.
- The coastal ranch design is all about bringing the organic beauty of the surroundings inside. As you stroll the grounds, the legacy of the land comes alive in historic sites and organic gardens.
- The natural topography creates an inspiring backdrop for an array of activities
- Guests of all ages enjoy a mutually inclusive atmosphere for memory making all in one place.
- Sycamore Spa is relaxation at its best. Opening Early 2016.
- Casual, unpretentious dining impresses all palates
- Canyon Camp, the activity center, features a multitude of activities to enjoy.
- The Ranger’s Station provides nature and adventure-driven kid’s programming.
Book now and treat yourself this holiday season!

@ Rhonda:
Thanks Rhonda! It’s very vegan friendly and in and around the resort there are tons of places for yummy vegan eats! It’s really lovely and tasty!
So, how Vegan friendly is this resort in LA?
I check your site out to help us locate the Vegan spots around the globe. And we pass it on to others usually. Vegan networking, works pretty well for promoting as I’m sure you know that.
I am not going to really promote places, restaurants and costly resorts to other vegans that are not Vegan, for the animals, planet and health. Anything else is becoming knowingly irresponsible and inconsiderate.
I do enjoy a lot of your articles and shows but I was really interested in your information when it was really helpful and informative in connecting vegans to places that were idea and supportive to our lifestyle. I only want to pay extra for places that are totally committed. Especially when it is above reason or usual standards.
Just giving feedback since I do take the time to read your articles and watch your videos.
Thanx for your time, Rhonda B.
