Washing dishes – it’s the worst part about making a meal. After you’ve slaved over a hot stove, whisked until your arms are about to fall off, and baked yourself blue, you’re left with a mountain of stuff you wish you could ignore. And without a dishwasher, it’s a bonus round of more time spent on your feet and a reward of pruney fingers. And if you have a large family? Forget relaxing after dinner. You’ll be spending serious time sink side.
Here’s a bigger issue about washing dishes by hand – it wastes a lot of water. That is an important point wherever you live, but I’m feeling the weight of it extra heavy here in California where we have a seemingly unending drought. Water conservation is difficult when you’re washing multiple dishes. Running the tap as you lather and scrub wastes gallons per wash. Sure, you can wet the dish and then turn off the tap while you soap it up, but how many of us really do that?
When I entertain, it’s the after party clean up I dread. I love using great dishes, glasses and silverware but man, oh man, do I hate the aftermath. I won’t do disposable, unless it’s a backyard bbq, so I guess it’s all part of the experience. But piling up dirty, and then clean, wet dishes in a small kitchen is rough on my hands, my water bill, and myself. These days, where water and time are in short supply, we could all use a helping hand.
Even when I’m not entertaining, I’m cooking meals that create a lot of dirty dishes. I love making casseroles and one pot meals like lasagna, crock pot rice dishes, double batches of sauces, and soups (yes, hardcore stick to the pot stuff) to name a few, but I hate the process of soaking and scrubbing the dishes. Not to mention how it kills my nails! I need a dishwaher that will stand up to those kind of hard messes. The Kenmore Elite Dishwasher includes Turbo Zone ® with rotating spray jets that delivers focused cleaning – this means I don’t have to pre-soak or scrub my dishes BEFORE adding them to the dishwasher.
And talking conservation (you hear me California?), the MicroClean innovative filtration system helps deliver peak cleaning performance with less water and shortened cycle time. This gives me peace of mind, knowing I’m not only saving on water, but my dishes are going to be clean and don’t require that extra round of washing! And I love that you don’t have to sacrifice your after dinner relaxing time.
Pound for pound, this dishwasher beats washing dishes by hand in every aspect!
Time saving? Check. Water conserving? Check. Money saving? Check!
Now if only the Kenmore could do carpools, pay bills, and make dinner…I bet they’re already working on that!
So, what are you waiting for? It’s time to save time, water, money, your hands, your skin, your peaceful after dinner glass o’ wine, book club, binge TV show watching….with Kenmore! Who knew a dishwasher could be such a lifesaver?

This is best product. I also Used it personally.
I, too, would rather have a dishwasher than wash all the dishes by hand. But do not forget about the maintenance of such equipment, because it is also worth taking care of regularly. The other day I read a cool article about Repairing vs Buying new one. And this is true, it is much more profitable to timely service your expensive equipment and maintain it in excellent condition than to regularly spend money on new ones.
