Over the holidays, I had the wonderful opportunity to meet Sarah Michelle Gellar during one of my regular segments on Hallmark Home & Family. She was lovely and I was very excited to learn of her wonderful new venture, Food Stirs.
As a conscious mom, Sarah and her fellow mom friends, Galit & Gia, saw a void in the marketplace for healthy baking options that are also simple and interactive for families. They created Food Stirs to bring family time in to the kitchen while also offering wholesome, organic, junk-free mixes that parents can be proud to make and serve.
With fun varieties like brownie pops to ombre pancakes and beyond, Food Stirs inspires creativity and helps families bond in a whole new way, creating lasting memories. In fact, they strive to source organic and non-GMO ingredients when available, with the mixes and kits being manufactured in the U.S. and placed in recyclable boxes. Plus, each month the co-founders and staff donate their time and resources to a charitable organization, making Food Stirs quite a conscious business model.
Food Stirs offers single kits, perfect to try out or gift, a well as monthly subscription packages to ensure the fun never stops!
I had the opportunity to try their tasty sugar cookie mix and chocolate chip cake mix, which are both great for vegans as the mix-ins can be swapped for vegan alternatives. The verdict? Delicious! And fun! And that’s why Food Stirs in Healthy Voyager Approved!
