From paddling down rapids to scaling mountains, outdoor activities can prevent (or treat) a wide range of health problems. The Philippines is a prosperous country with regards to its natural resources. In today’s age adventure travel is becoming an increasingly popular pursuit regardless of your age.

The Philippines is one of the best places to experience hiking adventures. Mount Macolod or also known as Mt Maculot is a top mountain out of the 12 popular mountain to hike in the Philippines. It is located in the town of Cuenca in Batangas province.

Mount Macolod is a very popular place for climbers and campers it is also the most popular place in the municipal. Most of the nearby places and even the foreigners always wanted to climb in the stated mountain especially during holy week where hundreds of tourists do their penance here. Climbers repeatedly visit the Mount Macolod for its beautiful view.

The mountain is about 947m or 3,107 feet tall and it is also located adjacent to Taal Lake. After having a long hike, climbers usually have a tent for a night stay for them to be able to see the glamor and beauty of the mountain before the sun rises. The mountain has a sea of clouds that absolutely will be loved by the hikers. Hiking in Mount Macolod is best to experience whenever you are alone, family bonding, or being accompanied with your partner. Mount Macolod is very prominent because of having a breathtaking view of Taal lake and the renowned Taal volcano.

Some of the tourists spend a little bit more time in Batangas to find some other relaxing places or to experience more adventures.

Batangas also has remarkable beaches to experience scuba diving. Among the islands to explore in Batangas, Anilao is one of ten most famous scuba diving places in the Philippines, Anilao is an ideal starting point for diving, snorkeling and some other water activities that are accessible all year-round. Scuba diving adventure not only gives a glamor view but also will benefit our body, It may increase an emotional being, improves our blood circulation and also it increases the strength and flexibility of our muscles. Witnessing the depths of the ocean in Anilao is a conceivable adventure you will experience. Having a moment of exploring the breathtaking moments with a lot of different coral reefs and fishes under the water is remarkable experience.

Anilao is considered the birthplace of scuba diving and snorkeling in the Philippines. This place will surely substantiate the thoughts of “It’s more fun in the Philippines”. In Anilao anyone can snorkel, swimmers and non-swimmers alike can bob atop the water, with floatation assistance if necessary, peer out down through the depths to see the ocean’s stunning magnificence on display.

There are a lot of activities tourist will surely love to do in Batangas. Late night activities are also consistently happening in Anilao. Bonfire in the midnight is one of the activities you should not miss. On the other hand, a bonfire is also famous in Laiya, Batangas which relatively close orbit to Metro Manila is also heaven sent for city locals and even foreigners who don’t want to go too far for a healthy dose of sun, sand, and salty water.

For these reasons, many people combine it into their itinerary while planning their travel package. Laiya Batangas is the most famous resort in the Philippines located in Laiya-Aplaya, San Juan, Batangas, it is a tourist favorite because of its prodigious pearly shore and crystal clear turquoise colored waters. Laiya is a perfect combination for experiencing bumming around, swimming and other sand or water activities in Laiya, Batangas. There are a lot of beaches and resorts that a tourist may enjoy in Laiya. Batangas is surrounded by beautiful beaches that will surely feed your eyes. It consists of white sand and a lot of adventure you can try. It would lead you to the most breathtaking moments.

    Great post, thanks for the ideas. You will also need to visit the Digital Nomad website, which has a lot of articles related to travel to Asia, and in particular the Philippines, and there are also good ideas for yoga retreats in these countries.
