  • Get the Right Bike

The first step that you need to take before you go on a solo cycling vacation is to purchase the right bike. The right bike can change your entire trip and make cycling feel effortless and exciting. It can also ensure that you remain comfortable throughout the trip and can help you to avoid getting blisters and feeling reluctant to get back on your bike. However, the right bike is different for everyone and depends on several factors, such as your height. You do not have to limit yourself to the bikes in your local cycling store.   • Keep Yourself and Your Bike Safe

You should also try to book a hotel in a safe neighborhood and read the reviews for this hotel before you check-in.   • Stay Healthy

You should also make sure that you stay as healthy as possible when you are on a solo cycling trip. For instance, you should take your nutritional needs into account when you are planning meals and keep in mind that you are burning off a lot of energy each day, you should also try to eat regularly. Remember to pack a first aid kit and ensure that you take regular breaks to preserve your strength and stamina.
