Sometimes cookbooks can be overwhelming. Tons of recipes and info, more times then not
they sit on our cookbook shelves and collect dust. It could be that there are to many
options and you can’t decide or that the recipes are to involved and
you just never have that much time on hand to
shop for the ingredients let alone prepare such intricate dishes.
But we all need to eat and most are trying to eat healthier so when
a simple, affordable and helpful cookbook is available
to help us spice up our everyday cooking, that’s
most likely the one that will get a ton of use.
Diana Stobo’s Get Naked Fast is just that sort of cookbook.
Small enough that you don’t feel overwhelmed, simple enough where you don’t have to
be a culinary master, affordable enough that you don’t need a cupboard
full of odd and hard to find ingredients and yummy
enough to really crave the recipes inside.
It’s quite basic, especially for those who are just starting out in the healthy
eating and vegetarian cooking world. Which is why it will get a lot of use.
For those of us who already know the vegan cooking drill, maybe not, but it’s a fabulous
introductory book for our friends and family to get started.
Great to teach you how and why “naked” foods are the best for you,
Stobo takes that info and turns it into easy to prep and follow recipes
that showcase what she preaches in a tasty way.
I also feel like this book is a great tool to get kids in the kitchen
to not only learn how to cook but to also learn about the connection of food to our health!
