Therefore, keep off the packaged treats and get to making your desserts. Start with the sweet ones that they like and shift slowly to the healthy option where you to alter some ingredients for healthier options. For example, you can add flax seeds in your mix, apple sauce instead of oil and sugar and your cake will taste just as sweet for them to even notice. Also, it will make you feel as if you do not deserve having it in your life. Enjoy your dessert and derive the pleasure it gives you in an instant mood boost.

It takes a few bites

People who love eating desserts and are little on the plump side are considered to have no self-control or just a little of it. However, this is not true as most people are just honoring their cravings. On the other hand, it is best to practice portion control if your choice of dessert is affecting your health or fitness regime. This will help you enjoy your dessert and also watch your waistline. Think of it as a birthday cake that you have a few bites or a slice then share the rest. As you do not have to eat all of it to enjoy the flavor. After all, it will still satiate your taste buds and satisfy your craving. Try this and you will have a reason to savor your dessert with no stress.

It increases testosterone levels

Yes, depending on the type of dessert you love you will be better in bed. One good example of such a dessert is the pumpkin pie. It is a healthy choice of dessert and it increases testosterone levels due to its seeds that are high in zinc. In addition to this nutrient, this pie has other nutrients like vitamin A, fiber and calcium and is a low-calorie dessert. Others find the aroma of pumpkin pie having an aphrodisiac effect on them and this is a plus too. Try the pumpkin pie dessert if you need a boost in your testosterone levels.

It is vital to not miss out on desserts to make your day worthwhile and to make you feel good. Hence, whether your favorite dessert is an ice-cream, pie, cake or parfaits.
