feng shuiFeng Shui is an age-old Chinese tradition of attaining inner peace through proper placement of objects in our house, workplace, or any place where we spend time in. Translated literally, Feng Shui means Wind and Water, and though this point can be interpreted in a number of ways, everyone agrees that these two substances are the key to life. Without water, we die of thirst; without wind or air, we suffocate. But Feng Shui isn’t only about arranging your furniture for your peace sake: it can also be very personal. You can apply it to almost every aspect of your life, from clothing to the way you interact with others. In this article, we will discuss the best ways to use Feng Shui in your personal life to best effect.

Beauty is not only on the inside

A lot of people say that beauty comes from the inside, but they are generally wrong. While a positive state of mind is essential, the looks are no less important. It is not superficial to take care of your body. Schedule a visit to a stylist and freshen up your looks. Take care of an aspect of your physique you wanted to have touched up for a long time. If you are unsatisfied with the shape or size of your nose, maybe it’s time to visit a plastic surgeon.

You need not look like a model from cover pages, but a new hairstyle or pearl-white teeth can make a huge impact on your state of mind. Remember: the main point of Feng Shui is to keep your life flowing and active, and by making these improvements you will feel better and more energized.

Fix your signature

Signature is very important in your business life and career. The perfect signature gives you influence and it is usually straight and tilted to the right. If you have a signature that tilts to the left and curls that means lack of growth and success according to Feng Shui studies.

Try straightening up your signature following the Feng Shui principles, and you will immediately experience growth and prestige – who knows, you may even get that promotion you were aiming for!

Find your inspiration

Everybody has something that drives and inspires them: the only problem is finding your personal drive. It is a good idea to try to inspire yourself while you are at work: it will keep you motivated and engaged during your work day.

For example, you can put a picture of a tropical island you wish to visit on your desk. This will inspire you to work hard and earn for your vacation. This kind of motivation may sound ridiculous to some, but it really works. Based on Feng Shui principles, our desires are blocked only by our mind, and to fulfil them we need to inspire ourselves. If you have trouble finding motivation, you should consider arranging a Feng Shui consultation so that a Feng Shui expert could help you unblock your mind.

Email says a lot about you

It might seem odd, but emails are pretty important when it comes to people’s opinions about you. If you have grammatical errors like a lowercase “I” in your email address, this might have a negative effect on your career. Your email is your caller ID to your business partner, and it can influence how they regard and treat you. It is very important to use proper punctuation in your email address.

The philosophy of Feng Shui is a bottomless well of ideas that can help you improve your personal and professional life. It may be hard to get into it, but once you’ve learned the basics, you will have a greater control of your life. Feng Shui doesn’t work with decor only: you can also Feng Shui in other aspects of your life. The next time you feel that some things need to change in your life, remember these few ways you can use Feng Shui, put them to practice, and you will see the results pretty soon.
