toxic relationshipBreakups are very common. Most of us go through a number of relationships before we settle on one, and even in that case we often end up making the wrong choice.

It is very important to be careful about who you are with. Never be in a wrong relationship, but sadly a lot of us make this mistake due to various reasons.

Sometimes, it is because we are blindsided and sometimes it is because we just do not know how to differentiate between what’s right and what’s wrong.

To help you in this regard, given below are five ways to know when you are not with the right person.

  1. Nobody Around You Likes Him or Her

You should pay attention to what others have to say about your partner. If your friends or family members do not like your partner then find out the reason behind it.

A lot of us do not pay attention to what others have to say about our partners. This is because we are usually too much in love and tend to neglect the negatives.

It is important to talk to others about your partner because they can see things from a different perspective which can help you know the real deal. However, make sure to listen to other’s opinion with an open mind not get fired up if they do not have positive things to say because not everyone is going sing praises.

It is natural for you to be biased when it comes to your partner, but others will paint a true picture, which is why it is important to listen to them and then reflect on it so that you can also see things from a different perspective.

  1. You Two Are Not Certain about Your Future Together

Get into a relationship with long-term plans. It is important to be on the same page regarding your future together as uncertainty can cause troubles.

Some people get into relationships with no long-term plans. This can cause havoc if one of the partners wants something else.

Sit down and talk to your partner about their future plans and if they wish to be with you in the long-run or not.

  1. You Two Struggle To Have a Conversation

No relationship can work if there is no communication. Now, when we talk about communication, we mean all kinds of communication.

Partners should be able to talk about everything, from future plans to family members to hobbies.

Do not be in a relationship if you find it difficult to talk to each other. If you two cannot communicate, you two will eventually get bored of each other and the relationship, too.

A relationship cannot sustain without two-way communication. You two should talk on a daily basis. Many experts agree that there is nothing better than a real conversation, but obviously you cannot have one with everyone.

Two people need to be on the same mental level to be able to communicate effectively and effortlessly. You should know all about questions to ask husband, and your husband or partner should know what to ask you. This way you two will be able to have a healthy relationship.

  1. Doing Things Together Is Difficult

Couples do things together. This helps them come close to each other and create new memories. But, if you find it difficult to get along with your partner and do things together then you should give your relationship another thought.

When we say doing things together, we mean everything from watching movies to handling financial matters to taking family decisions.

Now, two things come to play. You should enjoy spending time with your partner, and take part in different activities and have fun together. However, if doing things together is boring then you should look elsewhere for love.

The second thing is to ask for your partner’s opinion when it comes to decisions. This shows respect and trust. If your partner doesn’t ask for your say on life matters, then it is a sign that he or she does not respect you enough or has no faith in you.

  1. Sex Is No More Enjoyable or It’s The Only Enjoyable Thing

Sex is one of the most important parts of a relationship, so make sure you enjoy it with your partner. However, it should not be the only enjoyable thing between you two, as two people need a lot more than just physical attraction for a relationship to work.

Pay attention to these signs to make sure you do not end up with the wrong person. If you see any such signs in your relationship then make sure to look at things from a critical perspective.
