Out of Toothpaste Or Mouthwash?
At this point, as an adult, you’ve got your dental hygiene routine all figured out down to your favorite smart toothbrush. But, what if, for whatever reason, you’ve let your household run out of toothpaste! Don’t sweat it. Of course, we all know we need to brush our teeth twice a day, maybe you had all the best intentions of running to the store after work for more toothpaste, but your day got out of control. Don’t sweat it, and you can use baking soda, coconut oil, or even hydrogen peroxide as a substitute! If you use hydrogen peroxide as toothpaste or mouthwash, please make sure you dilute it with water significantly and make your best effort not to swallow it.
You’re Not Feeling The Freshest
It’s a delicate balance down there as a woman. And, no matter how much tender loving care we provide ourselves, sometimes things get a little bit off. Maybe you have a specific soap or body wash you use to keep yourself feeling fresh. There’s a significant market entirely dedicated to women in this department. If you find that you’ve run out of the go-to products that help you get back on track when you’re not feeling the freshest, a simple bath with at least a cupful of apple cider vinegar (also known as ACV) will set you back on the right path.
Especially if you’re feeling discomfort or itchiness, ACV will help to neutralize your pH levels down there. So, run to the cupboard and grab what many people swear is enough to keep your lady parts perfectly pleasant. If you don’t know a lot about apple cider vinegar, it’s worth looking into all the other things it can accomplish, from curbing your appetite to getting that musty smell out of laundry you left in the washing machine, too long.
You’re Breaking Out & It’s Bad
There’s nothing worse than waking up in the morning and having some brand new, big pimples staring back at you in the mirror. Especially if you’ve got a date or an event coming up, add to that, you’re out of your favorite zit cream or pimple patches. Well, the cure is definitely in the cupboard with this one. If you’ve got toothpaste in your bathroom, you can put a small dollop of that on your new zit. Other substitutes you could use are honey mixed with a tiny bit of cinnamon (hello heavenly smell, too!), and tea tree oil works great as an antiseptic and pimple perisher also.
Your Hair Is Flat and Oily
Some people are blessed with such thick hair that they purposefully have to add oil to it every day. But, if you’re like many people, your hair is greasy and flat after one day, which isn’t a good look. So, you turn to dry shampoo nine times out of ten. If you find yourself out of dry shampoo and you’ve got some baby powder in the house – sprinkle a little of your roots and comb through – even better, use a hairdryer on low heat with the baby powder. Not only will you banish the oiliness in your hair, but you’ll also have some incredible volume going on too!
Running out of your products is a given every once in a while, but when you look at what you’ve already got around and get in the swing of being more resourceful, you may find that you end up saving money in the long run. Some of the “cures in your cupboard” may end up working a lot more effectively than some high-priced products you’re purchasing every month.
