For those seeking rest, relaxation and pure serenity, I highly recommend that you put Tamarind Springs on your list. Wow, I have to say that it is one of the most beautiful, peaceful and beneficial spa experiences I’ve ever had the good fortune of having. Right from the start of your time there, you are asked to unplug. No phones, cameras or personal items are allowed in the spa so everyone just chills and enjoys the lovely scenery. You are asked to change into a provided sarong and then left to enjoy the waterfall pools and steam room caves. One of the caves offers all natural scrubs, perfect to exfoliate and soak up in the herbal steam caves.
After steaming, soaking, floating and blissing out, you are asked to head over to another area where your light snack is served. My vegan meal was incredible, light and just added to the whole day, as I enjoyed it while watching the waterfall and hearing the birds in the canopy above.
Then you are taken to an open air, stilted hut for your treatment. And holy omg, it was out of this world! My treatment included a 90 minute massage, facial and at the end, my girl even braided my hair and put flowers in it! Being able to see the sun go down and and hear the wildlife while being pampered in the breeze is pure magic. I don’t think I’ve ever been that relaxed in my whole life!

In between all this fun and relaxation, I stumbled upon Veggie Bean, an all veg cafe in Chaweng (the main drag in Samui). I had a bit of everything from savory to sweet like their cinnamon pumpkin pita and green avocado toast to coconut soup and mushroom fried rice! So tasty!
I love a good zip line and the Canopy Adventures company does it right! You are taken deep into the jungle and with 8-10 lines, each goes over incredible canopies, views and gets your heart racing! Plus the guides are a blast and lunch is also included! Super fun!
Sadly, it’s time for me to leave Thailand for this trip but at least I got to spend my last hours before the long travel day at the Koh Samui Airport! It’s one of the cutest airports, all open air with beautiful landscaping, great up close views of the landing strip and if you’re lucky enough to fly Thai airways, you get to enjoy free snacks and wifi at the lounge! Lots of great last minute shopping and time to reminisce about your wonderful time in Thailand!
Well, that’s a wrap on Thailand for now but be sure to join me as I’m always on the go and jet setting across the globe! Next stop, Italy!
* Special thanks to Tourism Thailand and Destination Asia for the incredible trip!
