Designers
- Samantha Pleet -Fall/Winter 2011 collection incorporates a multitude of themes to create one charming and very wearable collection. Inspired by mythology, astronomy, medieval crusaders, and a recent jaunt to Iceland, her 14-piece lineup is an expressive collection of spangled tap shorts, tasseled mini-dresses, and grownup pinafore rompers.
- Goodone – Both upcycled and recycled, these quirky and colorful pieces scream London chic.
- From Somewhere – Upcycling in its coolest form. With the Speedo collection, they reuse every scrap and strap from the Speedo factories to make cool dresses that are meant for day, beach, or night. With the main collection, the designer gets unused fabrics from brands like Alaia and Chanel to make an entirely unique-and-chic collection that any girl would die for.
- Little Glass Clementine – This collection, inspired by the circus and theater, is ethically produced by both recycling and upcycling its materials. Every piece is unique and can be made-to-order.
- Sofia Clothing – Working with a limited palette of black, charcoal and shades of red, Sofia created a wearable collection of mix-and-match separates. Pleated skinny leg trousers shared the runway alongside a sheer blouse, a cocoon-shaped ribbed sweater, and mini dresses that could double as tunics to be worn with leggings or your favourite jeans.
- Vaute Couture -An all-vegan fashion house whose coats are a fall must!
- Loomstate – Eco, organic jeans, an absolute staple for fall/winter ’11. But they don’t just stop at jeans so save your pennies and stock up!
- Olsenhaus – Always an autumn necessity, great boots and heels. No one does it better then vegan shoe monger, Olsenhaus.
- PeaceLoveEarth – No eco outfit is complete without the perfect accessory. PeaceLoveEarth for Annatarian has you covered with recycled pewter charms and organic cotton wish bracelets.
- Big Buddha – Lastly, but not leastly, a fall bag makes the ensemble and a vegan bag takes the seasonal cake! Beautiful styles and colors, all cruelty-free!
And that’s a wrap! Make this fall/winter fashion season the greenest ever and look fly doing it!
