For all the dads out there, Happy Father’s Day! And…give yourselves a pat on the back, you’re doing an incredible job!
With so much on their plate from juggling career, home life, kids schedules and trying to find some “me time”, parenthood can be overwhelming. So much so that many father’s feel that they are always behind the eight ball, never quite feeling like they are doing their best, and many, feel like they don’t spend enough quality time with their families. However, they are…YOU are!
Far more fathers say they feel they aren’t spending enough time with their children. In fact, studies have found that fathers are also less likely than mothers to think that they’re doing a good job as a parent. Although the overwhelming majority of fathers say working full time is best, nearly half also said that if they could swing it financially, they’d rather stay home with the kids than work.
In our ever changing, super speedy world, it’s hard for anyone to feel like they aren’t doing the best job they can, like there is always something left to do. That’s why it’s so important for all of us, to acknowledge all the hard work our dads do, day in and day out. No one is perfect, but dads around the world are always finding ways to get as close to perfect as possible, making sure we’re all ok ; )
So this Father’s Day, tell me about a dad you know who is doing a better job as a parent than he might think. Post a comment/short story for a chance to win a Minute Maid prize pack, including a $50 Visa gift card to continue “Doin’ Good” with your kids (or give it to someone you think could use it to keep Doin’ Good with her/his family).
A dad’s job is hard, but love, support and knowing that their kids, spouses and friends think that they are Doin’ Good, is all they need to keep up the good work! My dad has been doin’ good for almost 39 years and counting and I hope he knows how much I appreciate him every day ; )
Check out this new video from my friends at Minute Maid. Share it with the friends and family in your life who could use a reminder that they, too, are doing a great job as a parent.
So be sure to thank your parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and other parents in your life for all they do for you and those around you!

My dad is older now but he still gives good advice just as much as he did when I was younger. He always supported the family, went to work when sick, and made time to take us on little trips that were local. Even though I am no longer a kid, he still is someone that my children both looked up to as a father figure and I am grateful he accepted that role. #doingood
my lovely dad is been always a great father and grandfather to my kids he is alway there when we need him I’m very grateful to him for his support .
I don’t have a dad but my husband is a wonderful father to our 3 (soon to be 4) kids. He works very hard and spends all his free time with us. He’ll sacrifice himself for our happiness and I’m grateful to him everyday.
