office designMoving into a new office space, especially if it is the first one they are moving into, is an exciting time for any business. It is a time in which organizations are allowed to dispel any inefficiencies from the past and genuinely look towards to a better, bigger, and brighter future going forward. Choosing the right city, and also the right office space is crucial for the development of your business. Options may vary from one town to the other, for example, well placed SF office space is not hard to find, since the city has a diverse real estate market. Your next office space could be waiting for you in this modern city.

If you’re on the cusp of moving your company into a brand new office, you should know that this is never going to be a particularly easy task. To ensure your big move is a success, you’re going to need to do more than pick the first space that you come across and fill it will the cheapest equipment on the market. You have to take time to find the perfect office, and you then have to take care when it comes to filling it with all the amenities you and your employees need.

Here are some of the best practices you can adopt when you come to finding and setting up a new office:

1. It’s all about timing

Timing is everything when it comes to moving from one office to another. First and foremost, deciding to up sticks and move during a particularly busy period or season for your company is never going to be best for business. If you do this, you’re going to make things a lot harder for yourself — not only will you disrupt or possibly even lose out on vital revenue and profit, but you could also find that you perform massive oversights during your moving process. Be sure, then, to only ever move offices when your business is ready, and not a moment before.

2. Remember that outside views are important

Although it might not impact your employee productivity or overall business efficiency going forward, it’s still important to consider aesthetic appeal when choosing a new office space. To the point, it’s important to remember that outside views of your office are just as important as inside views. Quite simply, what they see of the outside of your workspace could be enough to convince potential clients of yours that your company is worth doing business with.

In this instance, it should be noted that corner offices have always held a certain level of aesthetic prestige in the world of business. If you can, try to procure yourself one, should one appear on the market. You might have to shell out a bit more to do so, but it’ll be worth it when you’re attracting custom based alone on the appeal of your office.

3. Make sure your office harnesses productivity

If your office space doesn’t harness workforce productivity, then you will find it increasingly difficult to operate an efficient business. To ensure that your office is productive, you should:

  • Ensure that your employees are kept comfortable by filling your office with furniture of the highest possible quality.
  • Make sure to invest in printer machines that are efficient and durable — you can find commercial printers for sale at X-Digital. Also, be sure that printer accessories, such as paper and ink, are at hand at all times.
  • Remember, open floor plans are known to decrease productivity. Instead, you should create areas that are specifically devoted to collaboration. Finally, don’t forget about the bathroom. Install high quality toilet stall partitions to ensure the best possible comfort for you employees.

Yes, a good and comfortable office is essential for a business. However, buying an office can be quite expensive, and even the largest corporations want to save money. Saved money is money that can be put to other uses, such as investments or company growth.
In my opinion, now the most profitable is to rent a coworking space. The short-term lease at a coworking space prevents the loss of funds that would be incurred by breaking a standard office’s long-term lease if a corporation needs to grow or reduce its staff.
The savings don’t stop there. These companies also save on office equipment and furniture costs, since standard office furniture like desks, chairs, and filing cabinets are provided by the coworking space office. With corporate coworking spaces, companies also save on maintenance costs such as office cleaning, office cleaning supplies, general office supplies, kitchen staples, and utility costs. When something malfunctions, the coworking space office takes care of scheduling and paying for the repair or replacement.
But the key thing is that the coworking office has the most favorable working environment. A Global Coworking Study by Deskmag (https://www.ranchoffice.com/coworking-blog/why-do-people-thrive-in-coworking-spaces) found that 85% of participants felt more motivated while working in a coworking space and that they were more productive (89.1%).

All virtual offices give your business a prestigious physical address to impress your customers, but it’s not just an imaginary cyberspace with a fake address, no need to rent a physical space. This is a real, physical office that you can visit at any time! You can schedule meetings with potential clients right at the location you specify and proudly place your company’s logo in the office, all without the heavy cost of owning your own space.
