How To Fully Show Your Partner How In Love With Them You Are

In this life, we feel all kinds of emotions – some positive and some negative. We have to strike a balance between the two in order to really feel the benefits of what life throws at us. Too much good will be boring, and too many bad things will make us depressed and lose the will to live. There’s one particular feeling that we all want – and all deserve – and that’s being in love. Knowing that you have someone in life that you’d do anything for – and knowing that they’ll reciprocate the feelings – is one of the greatest things your brain will ever experience.

When you find the right person and know that they’ve found the right person in you, it’s your job to make sure that they stick around. In order to do that, you’ll need to make sure that you’re continually breathing life into the relationship. You don’t just pick somebody and stay with them because you feel like you must! Staying on your toes is key – effort is, of course, necessary for anything good in life.

If you’ve never really been in a close, tight, passionate relationship before, then you might not know the right things to do and the right ways to behave in order to keep it burning. You learn with experience, so it’s not too much to be worried about. Here are ten things to do that will help you to let your partner know just how much you care:

Remind Them Every Now And Again

While going on about it too much can lower the value, it’s always nice to be reassured. Your partner may be the type to overthink, so it’s always lovely to let them know how much they mean to you. Of course, just saying the same generic line over and over again may not cut it – perhaps you could go into a little more detail as to how they make you feel and how they add to your life. It may seem empty and hollow to some, but the majority appreciate being told these kinds of things.

Work Hard On The Relationship Always

If you’re not bothered about much, then that kind of energy is going to be apparent. It’s not like they won’t notice your lack of effort. It’s also a very contagious way of behaving – like all behaviors. If one person is lethargic, then those around them will likely behave the same over time. If you look to work hard on what you’re doing, then you’re going to have a lot more positivity and happiness over time. Get things done, work hard on any issues, and don’t just shut down when things get awkward.

Actively Encourage Them And Raise Them Up

If you don’t want to see your partner succeed, then perhaps a relationship isn’t for you. They’re not your plaything and certainly not somebody to be used. If you truly care about them and love them, then you’ll want to see them do well in whatever they do. People need encouragement a lot of the time – especially from people they cherish.

Be Open And Honest With Them

Honesty is such an important aspect of any kind of relationship. It doesn’t matter whether you’re friends with someone or you’re in love with them, you should be open and tell them whatever you are thinking. Don’t play games and lead them down a golden path. Honesty in a relationship should be a given – you should be able to trust the person you’re going to be spending so much of your life with.

Remember The Little Things About Them

This is something that has an awful lot of value. It has value because there aren’t too many people around that will remember fine details about your life – or about things you’ve mentioned in the past. When someone brings up details about your life, it’s very endearing. As their partner, doing this can make them appreciate just how much attention you’ve paid. It may seem like a small point to make, but it’s a very good one.

Do Whatever You Must To Take Care Of Them

Obviously, holding someone’s hand everywhere they go and being too overbearing is not sexy at all. It’s actually very annoying to not have the freedom and singularity sometimes. If your partner isn’t doing too well, though, it’s your job as the partner to ensure the right care has been taken. Whether that means long term care due to a serious issue or aiding them with the most tedious of tasks, make sure you put the work in and get it done.

Reiterate That You’re A Team

You’re not one person with an additional person supplementing your life. It’s going to be 50% you and 50% them. If you have this kind of sharing mentality, then you’re going to have a happy, healthy relationship. You have to focus on yourself a lot in this life, but that doesn’t mean you need to be horribly selfish.

Defend Them When They’re Not Around

It’s very, very easy to gossip about someone when they’re not around. Talking badly behind someone’s back is a bad habit and a lot of people in relationships do it. If you really care about someone, then you’ll never, ever do this kind of thing. A partner who won’t stand up for you when you’re not there can be quite concerning. It’s very toxic and says a lot about that person.

Surprise Them With Date Ideas And All Kinds Of Other Exciting Adventures

When you first begin the relationship, the chances are that you’ll probably go out on lovely date nights in order to create a spark. You’ll do all sorts of different things together. As the relationship progresses, couples tend to slow things down a little. Make sure you never lose that ambition to go out and have fun. It’s okay if you don’t do it as much but never stop.

Never Leave Them Wondering

It’s very easy – especially for overthinkers – to worry if their partner really feels the same way. Mixed signals aren’t great. If you aren’t sure, then talk to them about things. If you are in love with them, never, ever allow them to worry about your intentions.
