While you might instantly think of doing it in your favorite neighborhood restaurant, if you want to save money, you can invite your guests over at home. The planning stage can be overwhelming. With this, keep on reading the rest of this post and learn from some of the tips that we will be sharing.

Plan the Food Carefully

This is perhaps the most important tip that you have to keep in mind. You can take inspiration from the brunch menu at Scarpetta, one of the favorites when it comes to the best Italian restaurant in NYC. Make sure that there is something for everyone, taking into account possible dietary restrictions.

For pancakes, you can use coconut flour as an alternative and pour pure maple syrup on the top instead of an artificial sweetener! An avocado or a banana toast will also be a healthy addition to your healthy brunch menu.

Add a DIY Section

Aside from having a carefully curated menu, it will also be good to add a DIY station in the venue. It does not need to be huge. Even a small table will be enough. This is good because you are giving guests complete control over what they can put in their food depending on their personal preferences.

A good thing to have for brunch is a DIY yogurt parfait bar. Choose a dairy-free yogurt to make sure it will be healthy. Provide plenty of options for toppings, which include blueberries, strawberries, banana, watermelon, chia seeds, and cinnamon, among others. You can also have a salad bar that gives visitors the freedom to choose which greens and other ingredients to add! Guests will also love it if you have a table with different types of breads and spreads, including healthy sandwich cheeses.

Prepare Healthy Drinks

The planning will be incomplete without having the healthy beverages that you can serve for brunch. Stay away from drinks that are laden with artificial sweeteners, such as sodas. Give your guests something to quench their thirst while still making sure the beverages are healthy.

It will be good to have a smoothie bar with fruits and vegetables that can be used by guests in preparing their own drinks. Fresh fruit juices will also be nice. If you are going to serve alcohol, see to it that the drinks will incorporate healthy ingredients. A Bloody Mary is one of the classics that you should have, which include vodka, tomato juice, and celery, among others. A sangria is also a good idea as it contains fresh fruits that will make the drink refreshing.

Take note of the things mentioned above and you will surely be able to host a memorable brunch. This will make your guests look forward to the next time you will invite them over!
