One Bar

Being on the go and traveling all the time, I’m always in search of a great, portable, yet healthy snack. And in a sea of bar overload, how do you pick the one that will satisfy without a bunch of unhealthy ingredients?

One of my personal faves is OneBar. It’s compact so I can fit a bunch in my purse or even my pocket when I’m traveling light, they come in delicious natural flavors, are low in calories and are all natural. Totally vegan, gluten free and good for you, they are the best choice for busy adults as well as kids! One Bar Product review

My favorite thing about the OneBar is that not only is it made of fruit and natural fiber, each bar contains baobab super fruit. I fell in love with baobab a few years ago as a delicious superfood that comes in powders, chews and now, an awesome, portable bar!

Baobab is a powerful super fruit that is packed with more nutrition than any other super fruit as it has nearly six times the amount of potassium found in bananas, lots of vitamin C and is a great source of fiber and magnesium.  It is alkaline and is an excellent way to address the high acidity of the standard American diet. Additionally, it is a great source of plant based dietary calcium, perfect for vegans and vegetarians! You can use OneBar baobab in smoothies, yogurt, baked goods, cereals, sports drinks, juices, teas and any healthy snack. Yum!

Baobab sourcing is fair trade which makes it eco-friendly and beneficial to the communities that produce it plus it helps protect the endangered Baobab trees from being cut down for water storage, etc. Though it is new to the US, baobab has been traditionally used for centuries in Africa, especially among nursing mothers.OneBar No Wrapper

Plus, for our loyal Healthy Voyager readers, be sure to us this coupon code EasyFruit , on the OneBar website – good for 25% off your total order placed by August 31!OneBar boxes

I throw bars in my bag for when I am on the go; however, I have not tried this particular brand and am grateful for the opportunity.

Are the bars filling? Do you know offhand how much protein each contains? Do you like them, compared to other bars …besides the health factor, do they taste good? (I realize that is subjective)

I too keep various bars with me, -they are helpful when I am out w/ the kids and need energy to keep up with them. 🙂 —seems like I am always hungry!

I have tried the three flavors and they are perfect for on the go snack. These would be good for my walks during the summer and while shopping at the farmers market.
