el-monte-rv-healthy-voyager-marfa-texasRVs are sure to be a gamechanger when it comes to traveling. However, did you know that there are many different types of RVs out there for you to pick amongst? It might seem overwhelming, but having all these options at hand can help you find that perfect fit for your future camping trips. In fact, a great place to check out in case you’re looking at testing some out before commiting is RVshare.

  • Class C

For small groups, a class C RV is perfectly suitable. They don’t require a special license to drive, are relatively easy to drive, and even offer the ability to mount equipment like kayaks or bicycles. They’re also not overly expensive. One downfall? They don’t have a whole lot of luxury in terms of plenty of space and amenities.

  • Lightweight RVs

As you might have guessed, lightweight RVs are lightweight. This makes them easy to be towed by trucks and SUVs. They may be small in size, but that’s what makes them so easy to camp with. You can camp just about anywhere with a lightweight RV!

  • Toy Haulers

If your family is particularly adventurous, a toy hauler might be the best RV option. Their favorable storage space, which can be accessed via a ramp, allows for storage of equipment such motorcycles, ATVs, and dirtbikes. These RVs also often feature amenities like a refrigerator, oven, and the like.

  • Travel Trailers

One of the most popular types of RVs is the travel trailer. Underbelly storage, wall slide outs to extend living space, and easy hitching and unhitching make this trailer a breeze for camping with an average-sized family.

  • Class A

Perhaps a Class A RV is what you think of when you’re on the hunt for campers for sell. As one of the largest vehicles on the road, you can count on a class A RV to take your camping game up several notches.

Class A RVs are mighty expensive compared to many other types of RVs, and they do require a special license as they’re essentially like driving a bus. But their high towing capability, plenty of space, options for either gas or diesel for fuel, and overall functionality make them ideal for glamping with a bigger group.

  • Fifth Wheels

Fifth wheels or “Fivers” are a towing type of RV that often contain full-sized appliances, multiple wall slide outs to extend space, and great amenities like solar or water filtration systems. This option is great for long travel sessions as they make camping life convenient and cozy.

Fifth wheels, similar to Class A RV’s, typically have a full-sized master bedroom featuring a quality, RV sized mattress. This not only adds to the coziness of the rig, but if you have children it allows you a private space to get away from the world, even just for a nap!

  • Class B

Class B RVs may require a special license to drive, but one thing is for sure: they offer a simple, fuel-efficient way to camp in style. These fairly modest-sized RVs are not only great for camping but also for regular driving. They’re easy to drive, durable inside, and often have features like mount gear.

  • Popup Camper

When you need an RV option that’s conservative space-wise, a popup camper might just be your go-to option. You won’t get the most luxurious experience considering a lack of fancy amenities and space, but you’ll definitely get an option that’s easy to store and transport. This is primarily due to their small size and the fact that they pop down when not in use.

Conclusion

Finding the best RV for camping might not always be easy. However, it is true that you’ll never not find that perfect RV. With so many types of RVs of different sizes, styles, and price ranges, you’ll be sure to find something that suits you just right.

Happy travels!
