Located in Century City, a little microcosm of skyscrapers and industry elite in Los Angeles, you’ll find the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel. For over 45 years, the Hyatt has hosted everyone from the shiniest of Hollywood stars to politicians and beyond. This iconic hotel is home to over 700 rooms, state-of-the-art meeting rooms and ballrooms, Equinox Spa, X Bar and the fabulous Breeze restaurant that boasts indoor and outdoor dining.

While Hyatt has fantastic green initiatives, healthy hypo-allergenic rooms and is pet friendly, I have to say that the Breeze restaurant knocked my socks off with their delicious vegan and gluten free options.

After hosting the Humane Society’s Genesis Awards in 2011, the chefs at Breeze were inspired to add more vegan and special diet options while expanding their farm to table concept. Delving into each of their menus, breakfast, lunch and dinner, they have added an out-of-this-world array of options for every meal. Additionally, the menu is seasonal so Breeze keeps their dishes fresh, exciting, healthy and delicious.

Some of the choices I had the distinct honor of sampling were the macadamia nut cheese caprese salad, gardein chicken and mushroom risotto, vegan pizza complete with daiya cheese and the insanely delicious raw pecan pie!
And for fit minded diners, the my menu choices offer dishes that are properly portioned and under 500 calories. How awesome is Hyatt for caring so much about the health of their guests?
Stay tuned for more options, events and amenities from Hyatt Regency Century Plaza!
