Niche Snowboards, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, combines a proprietary blend of Entropy’s Super Sap® sustainable epoxy with other recycled and sustainable materials to make the industry’s most eco-friendly snowboard products. “The Niche Story Snowboard is a well thought through product with carefully selected, sustainable materials such as the FSC certified wood core and Hemp Stringers to replace Carbon Fibre. Critical substances have been removed, such as the surface lacquer, or replaced with recycled materials,” states Prof. Dr. Michael Braungart of Erasmus University in Germany, one of the judges for the ISPO Awards.
