I need a Root Pouch because we have the worst soil. Seems we used to be a river bed. So no matter what I do, I have clay & river rocks! Plus our summer temperatures (up to 120) make container gardening away from the house pretty labor intensive, but the plants right up against the house do very well. What could be MORE right up against the house? 😀

    Thanks for the opportunity!

I’m strictly a container-gardener and have been wanting to try these root pouches. I’d love to plant some herbs to hang outside of my kitchen window. Thank you for the entry!

I’d enjoy another “teaching tool” to share with my grandson. I try to expose him to lots of options – I try to expose him to things that I think will impact him for life – things his parents may not remember to share with him. It takes a village.

I’d love to have this because any normal garden my dogs destroy by trampling on it. This would be beautiful and safe.

Earlier this year I moved to Fort Lauderdale from New York City, where I spent my entire life, to be with my fiancé–who went vegan as a wedding present to me! I love being more connected to nature: Our living room looks out onto a canal, where our cats watch ducks, jumping fish and osprey frolic; we’re minutes from the beach, where sea turtles nest and hatch; and I can hop on my bike and trek through a state park that makes me feel as if I’m in a jungle. That said, the closest place to get decent produce is Whole Foods, while in NY there was a CSA or a farmer’s market on practically every block! Growing our own food would not only be practical–two vegans consume A LOT of produce!!!–but it would be an amazing way to start our life, and our journey, together.

It would be great to have the opportunity to grow vegetables or herbs in a very convenient and environmental way. The beauty, the smells, the colors would all add to a very fulfilled world. Thank you for making these products and good luck to the winner. 🙂

I live in an apartment with only a small patio that doesn’t allow me much growing space. This pouch would be great for giving me some additional growing space.

My daughter and I would love this – schools have been hit hard, and most do not have a garden program. Would love to be able to still teach by doing – we want to start an herb garden and use them to cook! Hope you pick us – Thanks – Have a Green day!

I would love to have a root pouch to bring some color (and oxygen) into my at-home office! 🙂

  28. ¡Yo Soy Liz! says:

I need a root pouch like whoa because I am constantly buying giant bundles of herbs at the Farmer’s Market and I end up wasting most of it–this single gal can only do so much with 9 lbs of cilantro 🙂 If I had a root pouch I could pick off herbs as I need it from my tiny back patio. It would be so heavenly!

I’ve been dying to start my own garden, but I’m looking for something that is suitable for renters and that will stand up the harsh Phoenix sun. I think this would be perfect! ([email protected])

Thanks so much for all the great things you do Carolyn!

It would be nice to bring the outdoors inside, especially for my husband the consummate gardener. I’ve seen these before and have always wanted to try them so this would be perfect for my husband to try out. Thank you for the opportunity!
