Bell Peppers – specifically the red ones

To help you stay looking younger, red bell peppers contain large amounts of vitamin C. They’re both an antioxidant and aid in collagen production. Red bell peppers are one of the best ways to keep your skin looking healthy.

Spinach

One of the better foods for anti-aging, spinach contains lots of beta carotene. This chemical creates vitamin A which allows moisture retention in your skin, preventing wrinkles from forming.

Coconuts

A natural hydrator, coconut contains potassium which aids movements of nutrients into cells. They’re also high in healthy fats and vitamin K which is great for your hair as it helps it grow while moisturizing your scalp. Coconut also helps to stop protein loss in your hair when washing it.

Avocado Oil

Avocados contain a lot of healthy oil which has a lot of vitamins in it, as well as fatty acid. The oils even out skin tone.

Garlic

Clear skin can be achieved by eating garlic, due to its naturally antibiotic compounds.

Walnuts

Another one of the essential foods for healthy hair. High in fatty acids, walnuts give your hair a natural shine. They also contain protein which aids in making hair stronger and fuller.

Tomatoes

These are one of the most important foods to keep your skin healthy and protect you from the sun. Tomatoes are proven to protect your skin from UV damage.

Pumpkin Seeds

As well as Zinc and fatty acids, these seeds contain vitamins A and K which are important to maintain healthy hair and skin. One of the main reasons to eat pumpkin seeds is because they aid in getting your body to produce sebum, which is the natural oil in your skin.

Pineapple

Pineapple keeps your skin soft and gets your body to make collagen. This fruit contains vitamin C and amino acids that make your skin look younger.

Oats

This breakfast cereal has huge amounts of nutrients that are essential to stay healthy, including magnesium, zinc and potassium. All of these nutrients are very important to keep your hair in great condition.

Collard Greens

These have high levels of vitamin C, an antioxidant that gets rid of toxins. Collard greens are often overlooked but must be part of your diet if you want great looking hair and healthy skin.
