Spring is almost here and that means Earth Day is right around the corner. And I’m so excited to have partnered with Tetra Pak for a fun challenge just in time for Earth Day! I did a fun challenge that I’m hoping you do as well and share with your friends and family so we make a bigger impact this Earth Day!
Want to try out the challenge for yourself? Here’s what to do!
- When grocery shopping, choose food and beverage products with renewable packaging, like cartons – I always bring my own shopping bags as well as produce bags and always choose cartons, recycled boxes and glass containers when it comes to my packaged foods.
- Take shorter showers – My tip is that I have a waterproof radio in my shower so I try to finish my shower within 2 songs or less! I put the fun in functional!
- Trade paper towels for cloth – Yes, I have a “clean” hand towel for freshly washed hands as well as a “counter” towel for dishes, cleaning counters etc. I wash them once a week and it saves a ton of paper towels!
- Swap your paper coffee cup for a mug – Totally, and many coffee chains will reward you with free or discounted coffee when you bring in your own mug. A win win!
- Take the Tetra Pak Happiness Quiz by clicking here – It’s fun!
Do you think you are up to the challenge?
By changing just one simple habit, you can make a big impact on your life and the world around you! Whether you change how you get to work or simply make different choices at the grocery store, changing one habit can make a difference.
In fact, according to recent studies, we have the power to be happier and to protect the earth’s resources by adopting simple, renewable lifestyle behaviors. Money, beauty, friends, vacation, cars – the many factors that we think make us happy. It turns out you can add “green” living to that list!
Choosing products with renewable packaging is a simple step with far-reaching impact. Tetra Pak carton packaging helps protect our planet’s limited supply of natural resources, Tetra Pak cartons are mainly made from paper, a renewable resource that can be naturally replenished and widely available in all sorts of products.
So living green is not only easy, it’s good for you too!
And in closing, in celebration of International Happiness Day on March 20, we encourage everyone to make simple renewable lifestyle changes to live happier while protecting our earth!
