So while Flagstaff may not be a booming metropolis, it is a must stop on your way to the Grand Canyon. It’s cute, quaint and has more to offer veggies than meets the eye! So here we go for some more healthy eats in this gateway to the American west town!
Outside of town you’ll find, Amelia’s Garden, a great place to stop and pack your coolers with healthy goodies while also taking a load off at the cafe. Casual dining with a nice menu for all sorts of special diets, I liked the variety as well as the selection for both dining in and taking out for the rest of our road trip. Located at 305 South Main Street, Snowflake, AZ 85937, 928-536-2046.
Looking for the quintessential veg eatery? Morning Glory is the spot! Veggie soups, salads and sandwiches this cafe has been a Flagstaff, healthy dining institution for years. Not matter what diet you follow, you’ll be well taken care of at Morning Glory. the vegan Blue Corn Pancakes are a must as is their cucumber lemonade, perfect to pack for your Grand Canyon hike! you can find them at 115 S. San Francisco
Flagstaff, AZ 86001, 928-774-3705.
You can’t leave Flagstaff without hitting up New Jersey Pizza! The best part about their pizzas is their variety of organic, locally grown toppings. Veggie or not, a pizza here is a delicacy and even for us vegans, this is a cheeseless pizza to do for! You’ll be craving a pizza full of fresh garden veggies long after you’ve left the region!
There’s plenty more popping up across town so this summer when you’re road tripping with friends or family to or from the Grand Canyon, make it a point to dine in Flagstaff!!
